    Fuse technical parameters (recommended configuration table for oil-immersed fuses of our company)
    The high-voltage side of the American box-type transformer is connected in series with a backup protection fuse and a plug-in fuse to provide full-range protection. The principle is simple, economical and reliable. The backup protection fuse is an oil-immersed high-voltage current-limiting fuse with a large breaking capacity. It only operates when there is a fault inside the transformer. The plug-in fuse is equipped with a dual-sensitive fuse to provide dual protection of current and temperature. After the dual-sensitive fuse is blown, the fuse core can be easily replaced on site.

    Box transformer structure
    The box structure of this product consists of three parts: high-voltage compartment, low-voltage compartment, and oil tank compartment. The high-voltage compartment includes high-voltage cable accessories, load switches, no-load voltage tap changers, plug-in fuses, pressure relief valves, oil level gauges, oil thermometers, and oil drain valves. The low-voltage compartment includes low-voltage bushings, low-voltage meters, circuit breakers, and capacitor compensation. The oil tank compartment includes transformer windings and cores, radiators, high-voltage load switches, and fuses, all of which are in the oil tank. According to the needs of the plan, the box transformer structure can be designed in a finished product font or mesh font, see the figure below.

    Transportation, installation and maintenance
    ◆ Transportation
    ◇ The transformer substation leaving the factory should be filled with 25# (or 45#) transformer oil according to the oil level gauge in the oil tank. During transportation and loading and unloading, it is not allowed to be inverted or turned over, and the parts must not be hit or violently vibrated.
    ◇ Special attention should be paid when lifting and relocating the substation. The lifting hook should be hooked on the hook of the oil tank and the lifting should be done slowly to prevent the wire rope from damaging the paint on the surface of the substation, or even causing the center of gravity of the entire substation to shift, tilt, or fall.
    Install
    ◇ When the substation is installed on site, attention should be paid to the protection of the paint on the cabinet surface. The pressure gauge, oil level gauge, thermometer, handle of plug-in fuse and insulating sleeve components are not allowed to be hit or cracked, and the screws must not be loose.
    ◇ Clean the dust and dirt on the outside of the substation, inside the cabinet door, and on the surface of the insulating sleeve.
    ◇ Check whether the nameplate data and product certificate of the substation are consistent with the order form, and check whether documents and spare parts are missing according to the packing list.
    ◇ The civil engineering drawing of the substation cable inlet and outlet is shown in Figure 6.

    ◆ Maintain
    The factory-produced products have been strictly assembled and adjusted. They do not need to be disassembled during installation to avoid affecting performance. Maintenance is limited to the following situations:
    ◇ Perform transformer oil sampling analysis once a year;
    ◇ If the oil level is found to be low, it should be replenished in time. The brand of oil should be the same as the oil in the box:
    ◇ After the fuse is blown, the cause should be found out. When replacing the fuse core, it should be noted that its specifications and models should be the same as the original specifications and models.


    ◆Repair
    ◇All components in the product are maintained according to their respective technical requirements:
    ◇If the selected transformer is oil-immersed, an oil sample analysis and inspection should be carried out at least once a year as required;
    ◇After 20 load-carrying or 2,000 no-load opening and closing operations, the high-voltage side switchgear in operation should be checked for contact conditions and the degree of loss of the arc extinguishing device. If any abnormality is found, it should be repaired or replaced in time.
    ◇After the low-voltage switchgear automatically trips, the cause of the tripping should be checked and analyzed, and it can only be put into operation again after the fault is eliminated;
    ◇The lightning arrester should be tested once a year before the arrival of the thunderstorm season;
    *The product is accompanied by a packing list, a certificate of conformity, an installation and use manual, an electrical wiring diagram, and the manuals of the main components and equipment used in this product, key operating tools, and spare parts provided in accordance with the agreement.
